Welsh athlete Aaron Ramsey has boosted the bounty for details about the lost canine Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.

The beagle, who went missing on October 9th, was equipped with a tracking device, and Ramsey published a exact coordinates of where she was last seen.

"Any sort of information about our pet Halo please get in touch with us. Significant bounty for reuniting with her. We are all wishing she is safe and can be back to our family quickly," the athlete shared on social media.

Earlier Offer and Heartfelt Appeals

Ramsey first revealed that his dog had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently uploaded several photos of the cherished canine on his social media account.

A $$10k incentive was originally provided, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a week, Ramsey and his family doubled the sum.

"We just want our pet returned," he expressed in a further appeal on social media after the decade-old pet was lost.

A recent image post is a monochrome snapshot of the beagle napping, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to hold you again Halo."

Family's Anxieties and Background

The footballer has also posted a note from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have several "serious questions" surrounding the event and worry the family "might not obtain explanations".

"We still haven't found our dog. I don't think we ever will," the spouse's message expressed.

The Welsh skipper signed with Mexico's first division team Pumas UNAM in recent months and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.

Born in Caerphilly athlete is the first high profile British Isles athlete to play in the Mexican league.
